All offered ski courses
When learning winter sports many of our skiers need individual lessons. Often a further person as a helper is required. Some people e.g. Mono skiers have the possibility to become independent, others will also need instructors or helpers as an advanced skier. This depends on the psychological and physical abilities of the skier.
Disciplines Offered:
Skiing with learning disability
Skiing is with us possible for everyone e.g. for people with Down syndrome, Autism, ADS, such as different learning disabilities! With special equipment it is possible to automatize special movements and by this to build up a "muscle reminder". This means that the pupil must not be capable of following detailed instructions. Fun and safety are always in the foreground –by this learning happens by itself.Skiing with seeing disability
Blind people or people with a seeing disability can learn skiing through an individual guiding method and practice it in future. Together with the pupil the best method is developed.
Crutch skiing
People with amputationsAmputation means(latin : amputatio) the detachment of a part of the body. We differentiate between amputation as a surgical intervention and the amputation as a consequence of an accident (traumatic amputation). Or a weakened person can use crutches while performing the loved wintersport.
Mono-skiing
People with good upper body coordination (e.g. ParaplegiaParaplegiaparalysis till approx. T5 paraplegia through a fraction of the 5th lumbar vertebra! The spinal cord and the nerves were completely cut! ) can learn mono skiing.
Bi-skiing
People with different handicaps can drive a bi-ski. It is e.g. suitable for people with spastic paralysis, half-side-disability intracranial injury etc. Even people with extreme physical and psychological handicaps can drive this model with more or less support from an accompanying person. This model features itself through its enormous ability to adapt and can also be driven nearly independently.
